“Babsy Toure is a young singer from Gao in northern Mali. He plays with his band in Espace Beyray, a cultural meeting-place for young artists in Bamako. There they also practice and learn a lot from Oumar Konta, musician and manager. Babsy gets his inspiration from Salif Keïta.”
