“Baba Salah was born in Gao. Early recognized for his skills with the guitar, he became a young member in Ibrahim Hamma Dicko’s band and later with Sidi Toure. After his music studies, Baba joined Oumou Sangare and played with her a few years before forming his own band. So far Baba has recorded three albums of his own and is a model for many young guitarists.”
